Eye of the Beholder

Stu Goldberg

"A very special album for me by former Mahavishnu pianist, Stu Goldberg. Basically a piano trio outing featuring Stu, late Jim Lacefield on bass, and myself; with added contributions by Stu's brother, Ken, on reeds, ex-Don Ellis percussionist, Lee Pastora and a string quartet. As much as I played with Jim over the years, this was the only complete jazz record we ever made together. Sadly, Jim was taken from us way too soon. As a compatriot in jazz and a dear friend, I miss him constantly."
